Relatives of the two victims in the fatal shooting in Greenfield that occurred on the night of Monday, June 22, are seeking help from the community and have started a GoFundMe fundraiser to help fund funeral costs.
Elizabeth Saavedra, 32, of Soledad, and her boyfriend, Aldo Mandujano, 26, of King City are the two victims of the shooting which police believe to be gang-related.
“Saavedra was a loving mother, daughter, friend, maestra and member of the Soledad Community . . . she leaves behind two beautiful 4-year-old twin boys who will miss her very much,” reads the GoFundMe created by her brother Joshua .
Mandujano’s GoFundMe is created by his sister Guadalupe.
“Aldo was a good man who was currently working on building his own pressure washing company,” the website states. “He was extremely excited to begin this new journey in his career. Many people will remember him as the guy always cracking jokes—he made people laugh, and he was a great brother, cousin, and to some, the best of friends anyone could ask for.”
Greenfield Police are asking the community’s help in any videos or images related to the incident. Tips can be submitted online .
